I've just returned from the Comparative Cartilage Biology meeting in Banyuls-sur-Mer, France. The meeting showcased some of the coolest and most exciting talks on functional morphology of cartilage I've seen in a long time. I presented my latest research on the effects of ocean acidification and warming on cartilage density in little skate (https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rspb.2018.2187) and brainstormed with an amazing group of scientists about the direction of the field and new exciting questions to tackle. Follow the tweets of the meeting here #ccb_banyuls. I can't wait for another CCB meeting in the next few years!
