I'm honored to be the 2018 recipient of the "She Made a Difference" award by the European Women's Management Development International Network (EWMD). It's extra special to receive this award in my hometown, La Spezia (Italy)! I'm so thankful for the wonderful mentors who supported me along the way, and I hope to inspire young women to pursue a career in science!
